Duration:5 till 7

Tide:full

Weather:
lite breeze
Bait:frozen peeler

Rigs:4/0 pennel

Results:10 codling/4coalies




Report:no surf on the beaches again so headed for a bit of current instead and hit the pier, from the off cracking bite thought bass but no a fine cod about 3lb. this continued for the session got some fine plump fish looking forward to dinner tommorow. when i got home and filleted the catch 1 of the smaller fish had stuffed its guts with 4 matchbox size flatties savage little fish. looks like all the cod hanging around since last winter are getting bigger cant wait till full on winter :P

Some nice Coddling there Sean, Will take a trip down in the winter a mate of mine has a nice mark down there.

Hey Sean,Well done, some tasty lookin fellas there .Looks like the Tables :wink: have turned again and we are back to the winter sport ,And that time for the thermals again .Hows the little man ,All good here ,Baby Angling training in full swing 1st lesson Bait collection :lol: .Heading out tomorrow eve for a wicklow session and possibly a sunday visit to the holy land of Waterford :lol: 8)

its looking good, last night water was clear with a small ripple........when it gets good and rough should be better again :D

Excellent session seanie mate, well done. Fish and chips for tea in your house for the next few nights 8) Just looking at those pictures of your nice big plump codling is making me feel hungry, abit of batter and plenty of salt and vinegar, very tasty indeed.
If this keeps up at this rate of going you are in for a winter of good sport with them.

Good man sean you can always poke out the fish. I havent wet a line since i saw you last going to give it a go next week when thy will be fatter again pat
