Best Light Luggage

#1 Post by daminim »

Hey guys looking for a decent chest & Back pack for lure boxes, spare line, spare reel maybe a flask and an extra jacket - trying to minimize the amount of bulk, but yet still able to carry all of the essentials. Any suggestions?

Might look for a shop in Dublin that stock them. Any ideas who stocks sakura in Dublin?

Just had a look on the online sakura catalogue - that bag is actually huge! might go for the Koa bag from sakura - alot smaller. Or i might just end up getting a decent waist type bag and get a separate backpack.

The Sakura Koa from Veals is a good buy and perfect for the roving angler that likes to mix plastics and plugs as there's plenty of room without being to big. Great value for the money . Just watch the clips on the coils - change these for stainless clips for attaching your snips and you'll be sorted.

if ye are looking at getting ghest packs/backpacks it mite be advisable to look at some of the more established manufactures of these products. have read and heard bad reviews of the sakura range of luggage. if you can stretch the pennys then look no further than one of the simms, orvis or if you want the best, william joseph http://www.williamjoseph.net/products/product_11.aspx

you wont find better

Yes, I have the Koa and was very happy with it at first. However after only a few sessions the shoulder straps began to show signs of wear and tear (the straps started to come away from the main body of the bag). I have seen similar complaints on some of the U.K. forums.
