boat primer

#1 Post by nialler »

Hello lads,

lookin for a few opinions on a decent quality primer, preferably white that can be sprayed inside and out on a grp hull before top coats applied. have a boat that im stripping out, doing some glassing and filling, priming inside and out then a total refit in the new year. Have done some research already but any more info is good. Obviously the cheaper the better but i want the paint to last also ya know. Any replies appreciated. Rgds Niall

Not quite a primer but I used 'international pre-kote' on raw fibreglass and repair work with a few layers of top coat over and the result was great.
