kilmore 29 /10/2010
Vessel:off da hook
Crew:tony fella myself
Duration:8 till 6.30
Tide:high to high
Weather:dry sunny but windy
Bait:rag ,lug, mac ,sandeel
Rigs:everything
Results: 17 species small eye , thornback, ,spotted ray, coalies, mac, pout,codling,whiting ,pollock bass,poorcod,grey gurnard,tub gurnard .redgurnard,dragonet,dab,doggies ,
day started nice and early straight away into macs and pollock followed by poorcod and dragonets all in size moved to area were both me and tony had rays small eyed and thornbacks good lumps of them with 2 spotted ray turning up we moved toa reef and it had plenty of fish pout whiting macs and pollock time was getting on moved and had our gurnards with ease 2 a time low water was 2 ish so we got fresh macs kept them alive and went for bass we had a few good drifts with bass just on the 8lb mark some in the 4 lb bracket we had 11 in total and kept 2 of the table the rest was returned for another day some great runs for us tony had his best bass ever and the smile on his face said it all ,we me shortfuse out there were the lads enjoyed a few bass on light gear as well all in all a great day on the high sea

Lovely ray and bass. Well worth the trip out i'd say. Fair play.

Well done Willy, good fishing as many species as we caught the whole 3 days of the Rosslare comp, we will have to follow you next year
you seemed to have gained a month though 29th october ??

One of the better days down in kilmore it fished very good we caught everything we planned to target. Highlight of the day was using my tackle box as a seat (willie fit that 2nd chair) Off da Hook went airborn Tonys arse went through the lid, tackle box exploded shrapnel hit willie me on the ground with shrapnel all over the deck willie crying laughing at me

tony im laughing here now thinking of it bits of your seat box was still in the boat when i cleaned it up last night even this morning in the rear well along with the mac you left behind
