People:myself and others

Duration:various

Tide:various

Weather:various

Bait:everything

Rigs:everything

Results:flounder, dogfish, conger, mackeral, coalfish, pollack, poor cod, plaice, codling, turbot, long spined sea scorpion

Report: 6/9/10- Galway
Short 3 hour session on a local beach. Nothing too exciting just felt like trying for a few flats. Only had mackeral so wasnt expecting much. Had 4 flounder in close.biggest 30cms.

11/9/10- Galway
Better session today with plenty of fish. Fished for 4 hours and had fish from the 1st cast. Ended up with 2 doggies, 1 conger and a poor cod at distance and 6 mackeral,11 pollack and 8 coalies in close. Nice session on a beautiful calm sunny evening.

10/9/10-Galway beach
Massive tide tonight, decided to give a beach a shot. Had some good sessions on it lately but tonight was differant. With the sw winds and huge tide the weed was everywhere. Really struggled to fish with it but did get one plump 33cm flounder along with another small flounder and a coalie.

15/9/10-Salthill

Fished salthill with a guy(cian) new to sea fishing, big into his freshwater stuff. He got his first doggie which was his aim so that was him happy. I managed a doggie at distance along with a plaice, a coalie,1 codling and 2 poor cod on the scratching rod. Again enjoyable session, new sea fishing buddy in the making too!

18/9/10-Whitestrand beach, connaught open.
Weather was just terrible, wind coming from the west with plenty of rain along with the weed make things difficult. Managed a good few fish, 8 flounder and 6 turbot all but one counters. Very well run comp and want to say thanks to everyone who put time into organising it, and to all the lads for coming down to it.

20/9/10-Galway beach
Decided to fish this beach as i havent fished it in over a year. Cian and kaylem joind me. We all had fish from the start with some doubles of fish coming in. Cian got his first flounder, 3 more shortly after accompanied with a few coalies. Kaylem had 5 flounder and i had 6 flounder, 3 coalies and a pollack.

23/9/10-Galway
Decided to have a short session on a local beach, only 2.5 hours. Had a few fish from the off. Nothing special or huge but ended up with 3 coalfish,2 whiting,a poor cod and a long spined sea scorpion.

Havent had much time to put up reports recently but thats pretty much been my months fishing, i have loads of pics but there all on my phone!
