People- Me

Date- 23/9/10

Duration- 2 hours

Tides- Pushing

Weather- Good, an odd shower

Rigs- Flappers

Baits- Earthworm, Maddies, Mack and Whites

Results- 7 Wrasse and 4 Coalies to 3.5lbs

Report-
I got down to portaferry at around 11.45am, First cast i got a good wrasse at 3.5lbs, after this the fishing was slow, but soon a run of coalies to around 2lbs moved in and a few more nice wrasse to 1.5lbs. all in all not a bad days fishing.
Lure caught Fish 2014- Pollack, Coalie, Pouting, Poor Cod, Dab, Cod, Whiting, Flounder, Plaice, Bass, SeaTrout, Grey Gurnard, Scad, SandSmelt, Red Gurnard, Launce, Lesser Sandeel, Rock Goby, Black Goby, Shanny, Mackerel, Herring, Dragonet, Ballan Wrasse, Corkwing Wrasse, GoldSinney Wrasse, Lesser Weaver, Butterfish, Perch, Pike

Fly Caught Fish 2014- Pollack, Coalie, Whiting, Mackerel, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, Perch, Roach

Biggest Fish of 2014-15lb Conger Eel

Very good result there for 2 hours fishing Dan. Well done. Were the earthworms any good as bait. :?:

well done ...great part of the world...never got anything out of the water there -always fished from the old pier at the bottom of the town' ling never made it up the long haul'...m8 told me to head back-up from the ferry toward the car lane... must give it a try!

yea all fish were caught on earthworm
