Nice one Oli. But in future would it not be better (what to do others think?) to say something like south Cork beach rather than the exact spot? By all means send a PM to a fellow angler but IMHO I think you should keep mum on the exact spot. However, in this case, if anybody was to 'expect' bass from this venue, they could be waiting quite a considerable time, as it not exactly known for coughing up too many bars of silver.

i dont see the harm giving the exact spot, unless its a super secret spot only you know about most other people in the area are gonna know about it anyways and isnt the point of this forum for people to know how certain marks are fishing at the minute and not keep everything so hush hush.

1.i know alot of other spots aroud a Cork for bassing(and Rocky Bay isnt the best one  ),so not a prob to go to other one...
2.i remember myself for looking spots for bassing, and so many emty nights on da beaches where there are not even a smell of bass...
3.to cach a bass is not da same think like to piss on two fingers agains the wind,so bass i think will b ok for a wile

Never heard of anything much coming from there, so well done.

I have no idea why so many people want to "keep it quiet" as to where they're catching - its ridiculous. I fished Inch (near Aghada) on Monday at low water with lug and had a beautiful bass on the first cast in weed-free sea and perfect surf.

Until 3 surfers turned up and ended it!
