Report:got to the mark nice and early but the swell was way bigger than expected, started off using my old reliable plugs but i just couldnt get them down into the water with upsurge and waves against the rocks so switched to soft plastics got a nice pollack about 1lb then proceeded to loose about 6 jigheads , got fed up with the losses so a rummage in the lure box produced an old dexters wedge last used years ago , it worked a treat got me past the upsurge and into clearer calmer water got another pollack about 2 lb then 2 bass a schoolie and 1 about 3-4 lb .

Nice one seanie It's great to see you hitting into the bass again mate. Great report and pictures as always. All those expensive plugs and lures you have and the good old dexter wedge did the business for ya. By the sound of what the conditions where like you probably did the right thing not using them as you could have run the risk of losing them, now that would have been bad. Maybe you could sell a few of your plugs, like one in particular and use the money to buy more dexters. Just a thought I had, what do you think?
