Report we started fishing the pier just after 7am and from the first cast we were pulling in the doggies, they were here in force it was a doggie for every cast. after a while they eased of a bit and we managed to to get a few mac;s great fun on the float. but then the doggies were back again, we weren't complaining for it was better to be getting them than blanking. but the rain never stopped, we were soaked to the skin, even with the wet gear on by the time it came to about 3.30pm we had enough!!!! i had water running down places that i cant even see so it was off with the "USELESS" wet gear and a quick drive home, cant remember how many dog's we got, we stopped counting when we ran out of fingers

at least you were catching don . the weather was no better down this way either soaked to the bone and shivering when the sun went down time to get the thermals outta the drawer me thinks

The fishing was brilliant but the weather was foul. We caught that many dogs that at one stage we were thinking of putting a kennel on the pier. Can you get waterproof thermals.
