Report:i headed to gurteen beach to see if there were any fish about for the comp coming up,there was a lot of weed washed up on the sand

and plenty in the water as well
I started at the far end of the beach and worked my way back to the car park
tried everything,small hooks big hooks loads of different baits and cocktails but only had one bite the whole evening and landed a dogfish

fair play 4 getting out in this rough enough weather gerry.that aul wind up our way i find isint the best.its moving southward 2mor nite so hopefully a few fish will come closer

the wind wasn't too bad,only about force 8,I have been out in worse,one good thing about around here is that you can find a spot that is sheltered from the wind no matter what direction it is blowing from
