pumping for lug

There must be a pumper out there that can tell me the answer to this,I am trying to pump blow lug with the alvey slim pump,do you go inhttp://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/bulletin%20 ... e=post&f=6# at a slight angle to the blow hole or the cast ?,(a few worms now about with no tails)nipped of while pumping,or trying to ! :mrgreen:

better digging blow lug and pumping black lug
