i make my own out of a 10lt paint bucket handle just cut it in half put a small u bend in one end and a big one in the other, cover the big end with duct tape and you have a tbar you wont cry about if you leave it behind or it gets washed away,if they are really deep hooked a long nosed plyers or forcepts might help ,i preffer to just cut the line if its down past his sphincter

Hold the snood line kind of tight then run your finger down to the bend in the hook and just push it. it should pop out. or just cut the snood if its to deeply hooked instead of of trying to pull it out cause you will probably end up killing it.
