Re: worms
hi james , normal garden worms work for flounder . i saw a young lad catching a flounder 2 weeks ago on garden worms and he only casted 10 foot out on the sand. I'm not saying the distance is all ways in close but garden worms wriggle like hell for a few min in salt water till they die and they attract fish with the movement.

Re: worms
Supposedly loads of soapy water will bring them to the surface so you can collect in your own garden
Most fish will take anything that you can attract them with.

Re: worms
I'm a massive fan of garden worms for bait
3 or 4 on a smallish hook, and a small tip of mackie or squid. I have had a heap of species on them. (including the bass on my profile pic)
they will also survive for weeks in a small tub, so they make a great emergency standby bait for short notice sessions.
defiintly worth a shot.
