result---mackeral,pollock,ling,cod,tub gurnard,octopus
headed out for a bit of angling today as the sun was out and work was cancelled !!! as we steamed out we stopped of and jigged for a few macks as bait,,plenty of macks about we had 30 to 40 in no time then headed out to deeper water,,,we got to our mark set up 4 rods 2 each we wher straight into a few pollock and nice size ones then into a few ling,,not massive ling but nice fish,,things went quite for a wile then i hauld up a nice tub gurnard he was 23 inches long biggest one i ever caught,,,we drifted for another wile and got a couple of codling things wher quite on the cod side,,,we got 4 more ling after that,,as we wher hauling up to call it a day i could feel something on the line but no fight,,,,,,,,,,it was an octopus !! nice to get him on the hook,,,,,enjoyed the day
