Killala Bay 20/8/10

People:Bob,Charlie,Chris & steve from UK.

Duration:9hrs

Tide:Hw1130

Weather:sw5-6.Frequent showers.

Bait:Fresh macks.

Rigs:boom,12ft trace,4/0semi circle.

Results:Pollock,Ling,Wrasse.

Report:Tried to find some shelter from the wind under Creevagh cliffs,Pollock shoaled up very tightly.If you missed the spot you missed the fish!Good size fish to 10lb,fast drifts over very rough ground.32 pollock,3ling.

by god your brave men force 5/6 winds must have great stomachs. well done on getting some pollock.

nice one.i was stuck in the golden acres pub in killala while ye were fishing lol.some nice fish there.there has been a nice few ling showing up in the bay recently i heard..well done anyway
