22.08.2010 Wicklow

#1 Post by Mick001 »

People: Me & a Mate
Duration: 07:45 – 12:15
Tide: Flood – HW/ and other side.
Weather: Sun and light sea breeze - perfect
Bait: Rag / Frozen Peeler / Sandeel
Rigs: 2 Hook Flapper size 1/0, then Pulley size 3/0
Results: Flounder – I think… :?:

Report:
Well not much to report really but decided to get out again after catching the Hound last week. A mate had asked me to take him Beach Casting so we set the plan in motion to meet early and head down to Wicklow. I had decided on the same spot but a bit further down the Mark from last week. 1st Hour on the Flood resulted in a number of typical flattie bits and I managed what looks like a Flounder. Blank saved!! After that it was very quite with just the occasional bite, and a lot of bare traces coming back in. All the same was good to get out and about.
