Any advice on one man lauching?
Are there any slips in Dublin/Wicklow/Louth where you can take the boat off the trailer and tied it up while you go to park the car. I don't think Howth or Greystones have. Anytime I launched from these I've had someone with me that can hold the boat while I park the car.

If any have a shallow area/beach nearby putting the anchor over with just the chain works well if its calm/sheltered, if it's really calm just pulling the boat up the slip to take the weight off a bit is ok as well, better if you have a keel band fitted with that method, don't take to long if its a falling tide though
