People:myself and herself
Duration: a few hours
Tide: over low
Weather: mostly clear with sunny spells
Bait: sandeel
Rigs:single hook rigs
Results: 8 thornback ray
Report:
herself arrived at my house and we had nothing planned so a quick think to see what she hadn't yet caught and a ray session was called for..
quick stop for munchies and we were on our way...
got to the mark and there was a slight breeze blowing across the mark, but that didn't deter me.
rods set up and cast out. Her rod was the first to twitch, objective achieved.. a nice little thornie..
quick pic and cast out again, and my rod was next to go, with a slightly better ray, and that's the way it went from there, herself caught 2 little thornies and i managed to pluck out 6 of them (and a crab) before it started to get dark...
