People: Me on my tod

Duration: About 1.5 hours

Tide: 1 hour from low up to mid water 3.4 m tide

Weather: calm, drizzle, warm, murky still

Bait: frozen sandeels, mackerel and squid. All it turns out a bit smelly and off

Rigs: 3 hook 1.0s clipped down on cascade swivels and impact shield

Results: SFA... see was fishing the wrong spot (yet again). Drove on another 500 metres and found the right spot and had a large pollack take the tip off my spinning rod, missed the fish too. Blankety blank and a shortened rod, and I left all the carefully prepared rigs and plugs etc. at home. Raging so I was... all my own fault. Would have been a nice fish.

Was it a good rod?
