Tide:high

Weather:fine

Bait:crab rag

Rigs:two hook flapper

Results:Bass blennies wrasse

Report:

i was on hoiday for a week with family on the hook pennisula and managed to catch my first bass . By far the best moment fishing it was a glorious evening had brought the kids down to try to catch some mac near slade harbour but none showed up but we did manage two blennies and three wrasse on the float we had out while we were spinning so as it got dark the kids were wanting to go home so i packed them off to the house and i headed off to a local bay and launched a big crab bait to the moon, had a few nibbles the it went quiet so i checked the bait it was gone ......dam crabs rebaited and cast out no sooner had the weight hit the bottom then bang the rod doubled over and i could feel a big weight on the end it tok off down the beach, i had a great fight trying to keep it out of the rocks i managet to turn him and as i reeled him in i could see him a silver beast finally i had got my first bass whohooooooooooo he was 45 cm long but i had no scales so i dont know how much he weighed but as he was my first he sure did taste good. And before ye start catch n release is my norm.
That was that for the night, home a happy man.
P.S. cant upload the pic somthing about file size any tips

Well done on your first bass and I bet it tasted good. :D :D

Download pixresizer it's free and then try again with smaller file size.

Good luck
