sligo mark,,,

monday evening,,

duration--5 hours
tide--in full then ebb
bait--macks and sandeel
rigs--2,,3 hook flappers

result--seatrout,flounders

headed to a beach up in sligo was joined by another lad,, got the two rods out with 2 and 3 hook flappers put sand eel on top hook and macks on bottom,tide was in full but nothing doing for ages ,,the tide started going so i went for a walk to see how the other guy was doing,he had one flounder,,,,just got back to my rods when one bent over,wound in a nice seatrout on top hook and a flounder on the bottom,,,,the kerryman joined us on the beach and went futher up the way to his hotspot wher he had a nice bit of fishing,,,, i no the spot now !!!lol,, i got two more flounders after that,,,then called it a night,,,my freind got one flounder but still it was an enjoyable night.
tuesday morning,,,,,i had a had a try for a mullet from a peir,,useing dry bread and a small float,,i ended up catching one but sadly i damaged his gill cover leaning down to grab him,i should have stuck me thumb in his mouth to lift him,,he,s for the pot now,, all fish above wher released
