Report: fantastic session spinning only on light tackle my first fishin expedition in a while after a lay off. I have never spun at blackhhead in the summer since 1994 and not caught at least 1 fish.

I also fish from the rocks at Black head on Monday 4th July.
Spinning for mackerel.
High tide was at 10pm, I fished from 8pm until 10pm.
i caught a few coalies as did the other 5 or so anglers there.
But i was the only angler to catch a Mackerel (1)
I don't know if any mackerel were caught after i left.
