14 foot aluminum boat

#1 Post by dommez »

i have a 14 foot aluminum boat that i bought for fly fishing in a lake but was thinking of bringin it out in dundrum bay (newcastle co.down) only to throw feathers over for mackeral and stuff i have been out in it in my local lake many times and the boat is fine and solid i have all the safety gear obviously and dont plan on going out far. Whats the verdict would it be to risky?

The boat should be capable .... it's down to the skipper to decide when it's time to launch or not, when it's time to come off the water etc. The usual rules apply... safety is the first priority.
Enjoy!
