Mates decided to go to Portrush for the day, with no thoughts of fishing and a cracking hangover I said that I'd go too. After 2 Hours standing in endless Casinos I decided I was going to go down the harbour for a while. So with Phil in tow I went for a walk down to the end.

With plenty fishing and not many catching I don't know why I decided to fish it, So it was into the tackle shop at the harbour, 1 Kiddie Outfit, 2 Weights, 1 Pack of size 6 Kamasan b940 and a Bag of Rag and we were fishing. Tied up 2 Snoods off the mainline of about 8cm each.... and we were getting bites very quickly indeed.

You could see the various species cruising about on the bottom and along the harbour wall, most bites were fickle but hooking up wasnt that much of a problem...

We went further up the harbour and I altered the 2 hook rig so I had 1 up and 1 down, I chucked it onto the sand and edged it back which the Flounders and 1 little plaice couldn't seem to resist. We had about 7 in all... Started wishing I had the mullet gear with me, as big pairs of white lips were sucking off the top.... So cool to watch.

Anyway, I wanted to have a go on the Rollercoaster so It was time to leave the fishing, had a great day!
