People: 9 Members Millisle SAC, Forum Members including David McCormick, NI Fisher, Big Stan and Drew.

Duration: 9:30am - 5pm

Tide: Erm, Slackish, Ripping, Slackish again

Weather: Beautiful start, deteriorated towards the end

Bait: Mack, Worms

Rigs: Various, Mostly Tope Rigs, Feathers, Spoons and Scratchers

Results: Tope, Ling, Codling, Whiting, Red Gurnards, Coalfish, Mackeral

Report:

A Good day out in all, Most Anglers had at least one Tope, all males, all in and around the 30-40lb Mark, Deep water toping is certainly different to the shallow stuff and it was great fun yanking the bad boys up from 150ft down!

Well done to NIFisher, Who got his first, sadly no photos of his fish as it was released at the side of the boat.

When the tide picked up we lost the tope packs, but that certainly wasn't the end of the day! A lot of 1lb+ Whiting, Coalfish, and Gurnards were on the ground and suppplied great sport for the guys.

I'd highly recommend Inishowen Boating Company and would like to thank the Skipper for all his hard work!

Can't wait to get back up there!

The skippers are good men and work hard to put you on the fish.

Why don't you consider coming down and fishing the two day festival the 24/25 of july. The Ulster Gold medal is on the Saturday. Agood selection of prizes on offer for the weekend plus good fishing.

Contact me at Marcoco@eircom.net if interested.

It is an excellent comp, and if the fishing is anywhere nearly as good as it was on our last league trip then it promises to be a weekend to remember!!!

You's two guys should stick your name down for the culdaff comp this coming weekend, fishing is excellent, and there wont be too many juniors fishing(if any) so the wee man has a good shout at lifting a prize
