some nice tides coming up later this week (evening highs) & the weather looks promising too. was planning to hit a few of the north dublin marks. any of the estuaries producing lately? mainly flyfish/spin for bass/sea trout/ macks etc.
will post results afterwards.

Portmarnock beach
went swimming in portmarnock last night. the water was thick with sprat and sandeels, with loads of crabs mixed in on the bottom. if you had a proper net you could have lifted dozens of sandeels & crabs. i assume these were peelers. unfortunately didnt see any fish finning or rising. loads of birds crashing the bait. anyone taken much from here since the closed season finished?
