Report:
was in wexford for the weekend so decided to see if i could catch me one of those notorious wexford hounds. found a beach with a few lads fishing on it had a chat with them for awhile and they seemed pretty confident that the hounds would appear and that was good enough for me. fishing was very slow not a bite for an hour and a half was looseing all interest when my rod gave a few gentle pulls forward then started to go crazy grabbed it and started to reel in and the fish was having none of it loosened my drag slightly cause i couldnt bully this fish and he took off taking line at his leisure only way i could line back on the reel was walking up the beach after him eventualy got it onto the beach about 30 yards away from where i was set up. cracking 6.5lb hound happy days very next cast caught a flounder which was quickly returned so i could have another crack at a hound  was nearly hound a cast after that packed up at 1.30 and headed away. to say that i was happy with the result would be an understatement. will definitely be heading back for more. hit an east cork beach monday night had 2 bass for a 2 hour session im dreading the next blank
