Started off the day with a warm up session with a few hours out on a boat.
Had about 20 mackerel and 1 smoothie. The boat put a goo on me for some more fishing so headed off to get some peelers and dig a few lug. Headed to a spot I haven't fished in a few years to give it a shot.
Started fishing around 8.30p.m. Things were very slow for the first couple of hours.The baits were coming back in the way they went out. Just standing there with a wind in me face and getting drowned with rain
.As the tide turned and it got dark the place came alive. I had fish after fish from about 10.30 until 1.00. Started off with the smoothies from 3 pound up. The biggest was 6 pound. Then the bass came on the feed. Got two 3 pound and one just over 4 pound. Finished of the night with another good smoothie:D
Me back was broke wrestling with the smoothies. Some scrap from them. Packed up around 1.00 a.m. and headed home. Didn't mind been soaked and blasted by the wind after a session like this.
