Ian golds super match extra fx

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Ian golds super match extra fx

#1 Post by evan699 »

Hi lads,

I've been searching for a rough ground rod and i'm thinking about the super match extra. I've found them on the net for 220 euro and i'm thinkin about buying. Anyone know if they're worth the money and if it would be the best rod for the job in around that price range.

Cheers,
Evan

Hi Evan,

having seen and used the rod in question, I would personally go for the Extractor 14ft for rough ground fishing. It's an incredible rod and will cope no problem with big fish, big tides etc. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Give Paul Mason a shout and he'll give you the full run down.

It's also put a lead over 260 yards on the casting court too!! :D AG

Regards,

Cheers for the feedback lads. I'll have a look at the reviews and see what i make of them. I'm not exactly too flush with cash at the moment so i'll be putting alot of thought in before i make my mind up so ye're help is much appreciated. I'll pop a post up of my first session when i do make a purchase and let ye know what i've decided on and how it performs.

Tight Lines.
