Report:We started spinning about 7.30.. the tide was rising and there was some weed around but not too bad.. the people around me started to catch a few bass but no takers for me.. started to lose hope when come 10 o clock i still hadnt hooked up one.. conor had hooked up two but lost them so he was a bit annoyed.. around 10.15 i changed my fishing position n changed my silver kilty spinner to a german bait.. on about my third cast the rod bowled over from a big hit.. what a fighter.. damn near pulled me off the rock.. oh my delight when i saw that bass comin up on to the beach.. my first bass in about 5 years.. a 4 pounder.. made up for all the bad nights... hopefully i will hav more reports soon.. if im leaving anything out guys let me know

nice to get one on lures sounds like a long wait ,did you keep it?
just a word of freindly advice ,pictures of fish are far more attractive if taken on the beach while he,s still nice and shiney ,reguardless of if you take him for the pot or not
i,m sure we dont need 50 posts following this on c&r and c&fillet so we will hopefully leave it at that
