Bass Lure/Spinning Rod & Reel recommendations

Hi all,

I'm looking for recommendations for a bass lure/spinning combo. Currently I'm using a RT Dialex 10ft (30-80gm) rod which I don't like so I'm going to upgrade. While I'm at it I'm hoping to get a new reel.

Alas, my budget is in the region of €100-€150 :cry:

What's the best I can expect to get for this money? Should I persevere with the RT and just buy a good reel?
Or should I give up fishing altogether :shock:

Forgot to mention that any advice on the best line or braid to use would be greatly appreciated also.
