Re: reel seats
the best reel seat I have used is the fugi ones. my best advice is if your going to use it in the same location all the time either tape it down or glue it. you can build the blank up using tape also so its fits.

Re: reel seats
ye im sure they do but your better of with a fuji reel seat as the will last well longer and are alot neater but all reel seats need to be cleaned after use or they will wear outconnolly wrote:thanks shaneShaneH wrote:a 22m will fit just make sure its 22m were the but cap is cos there is normly an extra rap of carbon there for strenght

Re: reel seats
just clean sand out of the threads with the shower cos if you dont every time you twist to open or close its like sand paper going over the threads which will wear them out in a few weeks

Re: reel seats
griplocks have a habit of slipping round the rod and if you overtighten them they split.a fuji would be my choice after coasters the futher away from the rod the reel the less grip on the spool unless you have big hands

Re: reel seats
I use talon reels seats the odd time and they are a good job for staying clamped onto the rod.. but lead to a nightmare if you want to change reels if you get a 'crack-off'... very fiddly
