Has anyone had luck with this lure?

Hi all, I got this lure today and was wondering has anyone taken fish with it?

Thats the problem :evil:

Bought a pair myself today even though bass are about as common as mermaids round here. And at €24 will I ever have the nerve to risk one in the water? Probably end up crouched in a corner petting them and muttering "Precious......"
