Report:
was'nt really feeling tired so i thought i'd nip out and put in an hours fishing ,arrived at the mark to find another good surf running :) with the thought of cleaning weed off two lines again i opted for just the one rod. nothing happening after the first fifteen minutes so decided to reel in and check the weed situation .grand very little ,so put on some fresh bait and out again. at this stage the tide started rushing in under my feet and under the wheels of the van  so first back with the van still keeping an eye on the rod and then crunch  .

my first thought was my tackle box so jumped out to have a look not too bad only the bait bucket but now i had to gather the worms too before they got washed away ,so in super speed i shifted the van gathered the bait and then went to move the rod back which was bouncing almost out of the stand. of course i should of known, grabed the rod no need to tighten into this one in fact i had to loosen the drag fast and then i could settle into the fight ,soon after i had a beauty on the sand :D ,quick weighing and photo and she was back out to sea. came in at 5lb on my old scales as i lost the didital one in bass heaven . one more cast and then thankfully the weed came in, otherwise i would have been there all night. now i could go home and dream of the next one.

had one more go for them from the boat and no luck ,hav,nt tried from the beaches as they are far too shallow,i guess.

bait buckets cost very little,in fact you usually get them for nothing so i'd gladly do that everytime if it meant i'd catch a fish

not a thing ,just easier said than done
