from WSF scottish forum:

Seniors: Eng, Wal, Sco, Ire.
Youths: Ire, Scot, Eng, Wal.

Fair play to them, great achievement by the anglers and coaches coming home with two golds.

seniors consisted of phil brown, pete davis, brian mansfield, conor montaine and tommy fogarty

youth consited of paul whelan, warren brown, chris feeney, myself and ryan williamson

juniors consisted of gavin fogarty, nathan collins, nial waters, alan turner and andrew ferguson

It’s the proudest day of my match angling career by far. This was also the first ever time Ireland has won a gold medal at junior and youth level. :)

Congrats to the younger anglers. We couldnt catch a break at all on day 1 with some dodgy pegging and the beaches fishing nothing like the practise session we had not helping matters with every one of us finishing last in our zones. Day 2 we rallied somewhat and finished 2nd on the day. Even then, we were down on the luck somewhat with a dropped fish costing me second place and a last cast flurry bumping Conor from first place down to third. Such is life, next time.....:-)
