People:myself and edmond

Duration:19:00 to 23:30

Tide:high 19:18 4.8m

Weather:dry and windy

Bait:feathers,sandeel,mackerel

Rigs:feathers,3 hook flapper

Results:myself,4 thornback ray,2 whiting,1 mackerel,1 scad/horse mackerel edmond 6 mackerel

Report:the new chef from work wanted to go fishing so headed off to a mark that I knew would produce,I gave him a rod and showed him what to do and he had 2 mackerel on the first cast
I set up 2 rods with bait and soon after had my first thornback of the evening
thornback 1.JPG
then had 3 more soon after
thornback 2.JPG

had a few casts with the mini feathers to see what was around and got 2 whiting

1 mackerel and a scad I think

it felt different to the scad I caught before,it felt a lot more spiky

we left the mark and headed to a pier and I set up a rod for conger and after a hour of no bites we packed up and headed for home
