Liffey?

Was heading home on the DART yesterday afternoon, northbound.
Saw about 6 lads down at the waters adge, right by the Matt Talbot Bridge.....yes, the waters edge...the Liffey!
I saw what looked like bread on the end of some string, attached to an empty drinks bottle attached to another bit of rope which the young lads were holding. The tide was out, obviously, but my question is, what were they doing?

There are loads of mullet in the Liffey at this time of year.
They were obviously fishing for these WHILE smoking an illegal substance... ;)
