East Coast Raymondos

#1 Post by Al »

People:Myself and M.b3

Duration:11.30-3:45

Tide:ebb

Weather:SW winds but warm

Bait: sandeel & Mac, horrible rag that looked like they were cooking in the oven for a few hours

Rigs:loop de loops & 3 hook clipped

Results:Thornies, Homyln, Dogs and whiting

Report:
Myself and mark decided to head out last night for a few hours, I finished work at 10 so got mark and then my Gear and we hit the road. First cast resulted in dogs and whiting..fecking whiting. Mark then had a double of two small Ray on his second cast and had a dog drop off. One Thornie and one Spotted, small but nice to see :D We continued fishing for another few hours and were getting dogs, dogs and more dogs. On my second last cast I saw my tip pull down and was giving a steady pull unlike the doggy bites. Reeling in it felt like a ray sticking to the bottom but I didn't wanna jinx myself in case it was a double dogs, turned out it was a spotted about 2lb. I was chuffed been trying to get a ray for the last month or so from here, Mark has already had 5 the jammy git :D
Nice impromtu session and nice to get a species that you actually were trying for!

Will put up photos later

Ah you poor fecker Keith  Al just wondering what sort of distance you (or Mark with 5  ) were casting to? Nice to get the target species on a night like that well done.

Cheers lads...I think

Sean I think I remind you of a thundercat. I played Lion-O in the series from 1985-1988, I was then offerd the part of 'Magical Mr. Mistoffelees in the show 'CATS' but from then life has been hard and i've been living homeless and routing through peoples bins mostly. I have an audition to play garfield in a remake so fingers crossed I get this and can start eating whiskas like a king again.
