Myself and mark decided to head out last night for a few hours, I finished work at 10 so got mark and then my Gear and we hit the road. First cast resulted in dogs and whiting..fecking whiting. Mark then had a double of two small Ray on his second cast and had a dog drop off. One Thornie and one Spotted, small but nice to see
We continued fishing for another few hours and were getting dogs, dogs and more dogs. On my second last cast I saw my tip pull down and was giving a steady pull unlike the doggy bites. Reeling in it felt like a ray sticking to the bottom but I didn't wanna jinx myself in case it was a double dogs, turned out it was a spotted about 2lb. I was chuffed been trying to get a ray for the last month or so from here, Mark has already had 5 the jammy git Nice impromtu session and nice to get a species that you actually were trying for!
