jellyfish????

guys out around howth at the moment is the largest amount of jellyfish iv ever seen .there is just a constant flow of them.even the lines yesterday were coming back with slime all over them iv never seen the waters like this in 40yrs of sea angling.they all seem to be the same type with 4 pink rings in the centre has any one else noticed this ?you wouldent be able to put your hand in the water let alone swim in this. has anyone any explaination for this?

yes we seen afew of them also. but the amount of the common ones iv never come across

was your hands and face red the next day fished in a spot like that before couldnt feel anything that day but the next all exposed skin was red from the splash off the line

yes my hands were itchy an hour after. kept washing them in the water that seemed to sort it
