North Dublin Rock Mark & 5 Mile Point

#1 Post by morley »

Spent a few hours Friday evening spinning at a local rock mark that I have caught a few bass off over the years, no action to report but a lovely evening to be out and will try again this week.

Saturday fished 5 Mile point from round 1 - 5.30pm with lug that I had dug that morning, they were in great condition and were nearly jumping up the fork to me(love when its easy digging).

First hour of fishing very quiet then had a nice bite which I let develop as it had doggie written all over it but on reeling in had a nice bass round 4lbs. That was it for the rest of the day, weed was a nightmare throughout. Not a venue I fish much these days but always seem to catch when I do. Sorry no pics.

very nice fish!!!

we were there from 3 to 7 with the junior leinster league the weed was impossible, very little caught only a small amount of doggies and a few small flats. The lads were saying you wouldn't catch any bass on the beach haha !!! :D
