Report:
Went back down for another session at the same mark as earlier in the day after phonecall from Seanie35. Arrived about 19.15 , lure in the water at 19.20 , first cast a good follow from a nice size fish about 4 lbs, Seanie arrived about 19.30 and down to business straight away. After trying for about 20 mins on feed shallow no 9 (love that lure!) switched lures to no 7 feed shallow and swapped over with Seanie, second cast fish on .. 37cm bass quick photo, back in the water. Bit of a lull then for about 15 minutes ... discussing lures had a smoke then Seanie had a massive follow.. heard him shout fish.. looked over saw massive swirl.. looked like a really good fish but no take. Seanie persevered at that spot and I moved up the shore about twenty yards, 3 or 4 casts later connected with a better fish 47 cm bass, put up a decent enough scrap, landed and photo, decided this one for the pot. As time was pushing on and decided to head off and have a few casts on the way back up the beach, Seanie said he'd stay on for another while, no joy though , got home happy with 7 bass for the day. Some photo's below.

Nice one Declan, 7 bass to lures over a few hours in the morning and evening on a beautifull day. Thats my kind of fishing
Had one myself nearby and another angler had 2, all 2-3lbs on feed shallows, had a follow on a kilty but he wouldnt take it.
Might try somewhere different for an hour this evening

Well done Declan, great report and lovely pictures of your bass. That's you well and truly off the mark now (or on the mark as the case my be
) there will be no stopping you! Lure or plug fishing for bass is brilliant, your on the go all the time and every time you retreive in your lure your just waiting on something to take it, very exciting indeed!

Good work there lads; reckon I know where ye were so might have a hop myself when I get a chance. Off to the tackle shop with me to get some decent lures ...
