Ugly Stick Braid 20/30Lb

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Ugly Stick Braid 20/30Lb

#1 Post by immunecfg »

I have bought myself this rod for getting more into boat fishing and something which would a well rounded genral boat rod, i have used things that resembled brush shafts and cheap ones which didnt really cut it either having too much through action or too stiff and not picking up bites.

I can say the ugly stik certainly ticks alot of boxes with being very light flexible tip which pick up every little touch. Just need something on the end of it to really test it (TOPE)

A highly recomended rod and can be picked up for £70 from some sites.
Species 2011: Bass (FINALLY), Mullet, Flounder, Mackeral, Pollock, Coal fish.
