Report:with the untimely arrival of big bruver a very quick plan was hatched to try a spot for smoothies that had produced well before ,on arrival at the mark the surf was horrid and full of sand not to mention prob unfishable
so off to annyreily instead ,bites where few and far between with big crab baits getting malled but by smaller fish ,some rough lads from town where also on the mark but they could only manage dabs and dogs you know the type 
eric got one bass by accident that was carfully returned his first bass as a senior angler shame it didnt count 
i got one pin whiting and one 25 cm codling 
with the weather so rough we decided to pack up as it seemed the smoothys like it smoother 
lifted into my rod to pull out my gripper and low and behold the target species landed at my feet after a dogged fight through the surf
