People:myself and chunk

Duration:1pm-7pm

Tide:down to up

Weather:lovely
Bait:mackeral

Rigs:feathers, tope traces

Results:mackeral and tope

Report:went out again weds as the weather was good.we headed out to where we normally catch tope and rays and anchored, caught some mackeral after 3-4 drops so had the fresh bait to start proper fishing, very slow with a very fast running tide and plenty of weed.chunk had a bite but his trace came apart and he lost the fish, then he had another fish and managed to bring it to the surface and along side the boat a good fish around 35lb ,returned unharmed! weather was ment to get even calmer but wind got up and so did the waves so headed back in, not had any rays yet and the tope not as plenty full as normal but it should pick up, out again on sunday with kev so fingers crossed!
