Report:the two German lads working with me wanted to have one last fishing session before they head home on Friday so i brought them out,I went to 2 spots first but the wind was too strong to fish them
I decided to head for deep water and we hit off for killary fjord as i never fished it before
I got a small pollack on the second cast then followed soon after by a double of small pollack

awhile after that alex got his first ever fish and was delighted

I heard it was a tackle graveyard before but I went home with more gear then I started with when one of the lads got stuck I tried to pull for a break it came free with a length of shock leader with a 2 hook flapper and grip lead and a set of mackerel feathers and a 3oz lead attached to his set of feathers

going to fish it again even if it is a tackle graveyard,it a lovely area and not too many spots around ireland where you can cast in to over 130 feet of water from the shore

im not knocking the location at all - as with most fishing you just need to be prepared for it and in this case with a lot of rigs - then your laughing
