It was nice to meet you Matt. Hope you didn't get bothered by my more than friendly dog ... It was a rough evening but the fishing was really interesting ... Went back tonight, and it was already more quiet ... A few fish has showed up, but smaller than yesterday ...

Just a note on smooth and starry hounds, at the specimen awards this year, it was debated by that some smooth hounds have stars and some starry hounds have no stars.
This is the result of new genetic fingerprinting so now to claim a specimen hound a piece of the fin is required
I'd say you'll have to do what the germans do, and leave your beach towel down early morning to reserve a spot - it will be packed down there tonight and tomorrow
Nice fishing though matt, sure its tricky to hook into them there at times, more missed bites than fish, doesnt seem to happen anywhere else when fishing for hounds.

Not where I was fishing it wasnt
I really didn't think they would be in around North Dublin yet. How far North were you?
Plenty around Conor, you just have to put the time in to find them - or wait for others to put the time in, then jump on the bandwagon
