Are there any attachments availiable that you can attach to your tripod that could be used to rest your camera on while taking a time delay snap?

cw
Some options below:
See below from Joby the Gorillapod has adjustable feet that wrap around a Tripod for example, there is also a magnetic version.(€25)
Also a cheaper option is to get a mini tripod and secure this to the trpod with camera attached, it has an adjustable head so as you can set the camera position correctly.(€approx 6 -7)

Re: Tripod Attachments?
Dont know if the magnetic gourella pod would attach to most tripods seeing they are usually made from Aluminium.
Nice idea all the same, im sure there is a clamp of sorts which could be attached to the tripod?

Re: Tripod Attachments?
like one of these? mini tripod and clamp. i think mr golds should look into this in more depth i,m sure a simple enough job to design something to go on a tripod for under 8 quid would sell like hotcakes

Re: Tripod Attachments?
Cheers for that lads! Are the tripod screw holes/threads on most digital camera's universal in size?

Re: Tripod Attachments?
Not sure about that................but the gorilla tri pod above, should certainly do, as its legs are flexible and can wrap around anything and stay secure!

Re: Tripod Attachments?
There are two different thread sizes for tripod points. 1/4-20 and 3/8-20. Most cameras have the 1/4-20 size

Re: Tripod Attachments?
The Gorillapod will certainly attach to a tripod, torch version review is here - http://www.planetseafishing.com/reviews ... illatorch/
If you have a look at the photos in the gallery you'll see the 'pod wrapped round the tripod head.
