kERRY - RAY

Hi all,

might be heading down to Kerry next weekend to do a bit of ray fishing. would anyone know of any beaches producing?

any advice welcome.

Not sure about Kerry but I got a 3lb Thornback off Cleggan Pier last week.

cant believe the only person to reply to this post is from England. does no one from kerry on this site fish for ray or what?????????????? :evil:

forget about kerry,the lads don't seem to be that helpful down that side :roll: if you head for galway myself and a few more of the lads from galway will give you a few marks for ray

if you still decide to go to kerry try http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/shor ... 20ring.htm it might help you pick a mark

if you get one be careful of their bite,martin can tell you all about that :lol:

Hi samo,

I'm not from Kerry but I go down there fishing.The ray fishing is slow down there at the minute with not many reports of any being caught. Hopefully they will start to show in better numbers when it warms up abit more.
It is still abit early for them. July and August are the better months for them but you never know, there may be some about now. Good luck.
