seats available deep water reef trip, sun 23rd, carrigaholt

#1 Post by jw »

Please post here if you are interested in sharing a charter on sunday 23rd reef fishing
in deep water from carrigaholt. The main species to fish for would be big pollack and
ling, this year some decent cod showing up, also haddock and whiting, ballan wrasse,
cuckoos and all the other usual suspects as well.

The forecast looks ideal flat calm with no wind or swell, the skipper charges 80 euro a head
assuming enough lads to fill the boat

I am very interested John, water temperatures are on the rise now constantly, a promising outlook to a good day. I'll try to get in touch with a few lads to share the cost, let you know for definite later.

looking good so far, probably one of the nicest days on record for the area, so absolutely no worries for anyone which still has to grow sealegs, the sea should be like a millpond and temperatures are rising steadily. Don't forget the suncream :D
