hi lads heading to cobh in a couple of weeks and was looking to catch a raymond from the shore as ive only ever had them on boats trips. if anyone could point me in the right direction close to cobh to have a go at them id be grateful tanx damian

Best ray I ever caught onshore was on the east side of the island , near east ferry , you can access the beach through Marlogue Wood which is near east ferry marina ,once you reach the wood , follow the main path until the path splits , take a sharp right , then a sharp left and its all downhill from there , its a good enough spot for bass as well during the summer .

If you need better directions , I will post them up .
